Metal Mesh

Faraday cages in metal mesh

Copper, bronze, stainless steel, and brass

Metal Mesh used for Faraday Cages

Silver is the best EMF protection.

But silver is extremely expensive, so the best choise for Faraday cages in metal mesh is copper.

You can also buy bronze, brass, aluminium, and stainless steel mesh.

The metal also shields magnetic fields from RF.

Copper is better at shielding RF and high frequencies than bronze, brass, aluminium, and stainless steel mesh.

When it comes from shielding magnetic fields from LF, stainless steel is the best.

We recommend copper for metal mesh.

Here are some pictures of different  metal mesh that are used for Faraday Cages in metal mesh.

They metal mesh comes with different hole sizes and mesh count. The hole sizes are square.

The best possible protection is with 200 mesh count.

The higher number the more holes per inch meaning that the holes are smaller the higher mesh count.
